Custom award plaques that do not look like every other plaque

A plaque is the classic recognition award: flat, engraved and made to be displayed on a wall or a desk for years. Most plaques sold online are the same walnut-finish board with a brass plate. Ours are designed and made by hand in our workshop from solid oak, birch plywood, metal and concrete, with clean geometric forms, laser-engraved FlexiBrass plates in gold, silver or bronze, and full-colour UV print, so the plaque says as much about your organisation as the words on it.

Choose by material

  • Wooden plaques in natural or stained solid oak and black birch plywood, with an engraved FlexiBrass plate or border.
  • Metal-framed plaques with laser-engraved patterns and a raised centre plate for your text.
  • Concrete plaques that pair raw concrete with oak for a modern, architectural look.
  • Acrylic and PlexiGlass plaques on an oak frame for vivid printed artwork and marble-look finishes.

Sizes and personalization

Most plaques come in two or three sizes, from compact 12 × 12 cm desk plaques to 30 × 30 cm wall-sized pieces. Every plaque is personalized: after you order, send us your logo, the recipient's name, the award title and the date. We prepare a layout within 1–3 working days, and production starts once you approve it, taking 3–7 or 10 working days depending on the design.

What award plaques are used for

Employee of the month and years-of-service awards, retirement and appreciation plaques, graduation and academic excellence awards, partner and dealer recognition, sponsor and donor plaques, and event or tournament awards.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a plaque and a trophy?
A plaque is flat, with the engraved or printed text as its focus, and is made to be displayed upright or on a wall. A trophy is a free-standing sculptural piece. Plaques suit formal recognition and long-term display; trophies suit ceremonies and competitions. Both are personalized the same way.
Can I order a single plaque?
Yes. Every plaque is made to order from a quantity of one, and larger sets for annual award programmes are welcome.
What should the plaque say?
Usually the award title, the recipient's name, the achievement or reason, the date and your organisation's name or logo. We check the layout with you before production, so nothing is engraved until you have approved the wording.
Can the plaques be displayed on a wall?
Most of our plaques are freestanding and designed for a desk or shelf. If you need wall mounting, mention it when ordering and we will advise on the best option for the design you choose.
How long does it take?
Layout within 1–3 working days of ordering; production 3–7 or 10 working days after you approve the layout, depending on the plaque.
